Our Paddy dryer is a vertical circulation type dryer. It works to reduce the moisture content of the paddy by blowing hot air into the drying chamber where the paddy is circulated continuously until the desired dryness of the paddy is reached. For producing hot air we are using a Fire wood heat exchanger furnace or Diesel burner or LPG gas burner. Also the steam heat exchanger can be used. Drying rate is at 0.75% - 1% moisture per hour. Drying rate specified above is for reference only. Actual data will depend on ambient temperature, relative humidity, air temperature, and paddy type, moisture content before and after drying. We are manufacturing paddy dryers with different capacities like 1 ton per batch, 2 tons per patch, 3 tons per batch, 4 tons per batch,6 tons per batch,9 tons per batch and 12 tons per batch. Capacity depends on paddy type, specific weight and moisture content of the paddy. Capacity is indicative and not binding.

The fluidized bed paddy dryer is used to remove water residue and moisture from soaked and steamed paddy in the parboiling system as well as removes moisture from harvested paddy.The bottom of the fluidized bed dryer is perforated, where the hot air moves through the wet paddy. The paddy rises from the bottom of the air stream and to dry each paddy completely hot air surrounds it. In this dryer, both the paddy and air are moving in the same direction. Since all kernels are exposed to the same temperatures, the result is uniform drying of the paddy and the drying happens quickly. This machine will reduce around 5 to 7% moisture in a single pass. For quick drying even if high temperature is used, it will not affect the grain quality.

Par-boiling of paddy is a hydrothermal treatment, in which paddy undergoes the process of soaking and steaming prior to drying. Par-boiled paddy is partially cooked which drives natural vitamins & minerals from the bran into the rice. Water and steam are the two essentials to transform the natural rice into parboiled rice.
